Immediately after school, the young man left to enter MGIMO and, during his studies, became a journalist for Komsomolskaya Pravda. Inspired by the work of Listyev, Lyubimov, Posner, Stanislav believes that the duty of a journalist is to be true to himself, to live according to his conscience, to remain independent and cover all events important for society.

Journalist career

Since 1993, he began filming news and documentary stories for the RTR channel. From 1995 to 1999, Kucher Stanislav worked on the TV-6 channel, where he first led “Forecasts of the Week”, and then became the author and presenter of the “Observer” program. The informal reason for leaving the channel was the refusal to release a compromising story about media mogul Gusinsky, while the formal reason was the lack of funding. In full journalistic composition, the Kucera team left TV-6 and continued work on the project on the RTR channel.

This project of Kuchera Stanislav was closed after the release of the program on the tragedy in Kursk. Next was the work on the RTR in the program "Big Country", which was also closed after the scandalous release. After that, some time a journalist lived and worked in America. Since 2002, Kucher has led various programs on TV and radio, has collaborated with TVC, RBC, Avtoradio, Echo Moskvy and Kommersant FM, the magazine National Geographic Traveler.

Being a very active and curious person, Stanislav is not indifferent to sports, traveling, learning languages. He speaks French and English, knows Hindi. Playing billiards and tennis, swimming.

The driver in the project "Snob"

This magazine is the brainchild of Mikhail Prokhorov, having a printed and electronic version.

"This is a one-of-a-kind discussion, information and public space for people who live in different countries, speak different languages, but think in Russian."

Since September 2017, Snob Media has been owned by Marina Gevorkian. The project practically embodied for Stanislav the dream of such an international platform that would allow people from different professions, thinking and caring, to conduct a dialogue on the future of Russia and the world. But in October, Kucher was forced to leave the project due to disagreements with Gevorkian.

However, from December 5, 2018, the journalist began to work as a leading and reviewer in the international media company RTVI.

I am convinced that the main processes and events that will determine the picture of the world in the middle of the 21st century will take place in the United States and in Russia, and global russians living around the world will play a huge role in shaping the future. RTVI is an ideal platform for such a discussion, and perhaps the only media bridge between Russia and America today.
